Montana APCO Executive Committee Meetup

Great discoveries and improvements invariably involve the cooperation of many minds.
— Alexander Graham Bell

At the end of January, the Montana APCO Executive Committee met for two days to collaborate on the current state of affairs and outline future goals for the organization.

This meeting was the first of its kind and proved to be extremely productive. The group was able to address a wide variety of topics including the history of the MT APCO Chapter, plans for the 2025 911 Training Forum and the Leadership Summit, and brainstorm on ideas for member engagement.

Additionally, the group reviewed the overhaul of the new website and identified areas for continued growth, touched on the chapter’s Training and Legislative Committee actions, and reviewed the ongoing efforts to reclassify Public Safety Telecommunicators.

Furthermore, the MT APCO Chapter, in collaboration with other Montana Law Enforcement and Public Safety Associations, hosted the Montana Public Safety Legislative Reception on January 29th.

The reception was an incredible opportunity for the MT APCO Executive Committee to connect with lawmakers and other stakeholders to discuss the issues that impact public safety.

We are beyond excited to steer our path forward and bring renewed enthusiasm to the Montana Chapter
