Annual Awards

Each year MT APCO recognizes a Public Safety Telecommunicator, Line Supervisor, Trainer, IT Technician, Radio Technician Team, and Manager or Director who perform above and beyond the call of duty. These individuals are nominated by their peers and honored at the Public Safety Training Forum.

Telecommunicators

The first of the first responders working on the front lines of public safety communications. Telecommunicators are often the forgotten heroes of law enforcement, fire, and medical responses.

Trainers & Supervisors

In addition to their life-saving duties, trainers & supervisors have the added responsibilities of training newly hired employees, maintaining documentation, facilitating ongoing training for the center, and managing equipment, personnel, and operations.

Technicians

Often working in the background out of sight, technicians face new challenges every day. They are crucial to the overall operations of any dispatch center.
